I am a manager at Shakir General Trading. Since 1990 the company has supplied tyres, lubricants, tubes, belts and grease across Somalia, to individual drivers, workshops and fleet operators.
It is where the project management and leadership I write about meet daily practice: stock that has to arrive on time, partners on several continents, and a team that customers rely on.
